There was a recall on some of the 2015 for engine cutting out at times when you turn and try to accelerate and nothing happens. Well its been doing it with my car but they say not part of recalls. But at times I take a turn, can't go anywhere cause gas pedal don't go till I wait a few seconds and than it goes. Dangerous driving at times

Battery has been replaced 3 times. Starter is failing. It sometimes takes up to 15 minutes or more to crank my car making me late for work. Running errands/getting in & out of the car & having to turn the key 50 times in the heat of summer with a baby in the car is a safety hazard. Fuel pump issue when I put my car in reverse & start to back up, my car will die. Another safety hazard because I don-??t have control of my car, it just keeps rolling backwards after it dies & doesn-??t allow me to get out of the way if another vehicle is coming. Information center on the dashboard often tells me to check fuel cap. Anything happening in the fuel area is certainly hazardous. I-??ve called the Honda dealership & they tell me my car is no longer under warranty. Yes, everything is available for inspection. The starter problem has been confirmed by an independent service center. The fuel cap notification appeared 2 weeks ago but the car has been dying in reverse for 2 years. The starter began failing 4 months ago with no help from the Honda dealership due to my warranty being expired.

Hello, I turned my car on and saw the engine emissions system warning, which I-??ve never seen before. I thought the cold front or sudden temperature change in my city had something to do with it & it would go away because my car is well maintained(all services done at Honda dealership). I was driving on the freeway about 75 mph and all of a sudden my car stops accelerating. I floored the gas pedal but it was only going about 30 mph(felt weak or like it was operating on battery only) this is when the -??engine cooling system problem-?? and -??engine temperature too hot-?? warnings started flashing. The car behind me almost hit me, other cars were passing & honking at me, I was holding up traffic so I got in the emergency lane. While in the emergency lane I had to turn my car on an off about 6 times for it to work normally for about 5/10 minutes before it would start stalling or the acceleration would stop working(this would happen when the coolant warning started flashing) until I got home. I was confused on why the car wasn-??t accelerating like normal because I had more than half a gas tank left & my coolant has been replaced. The next day I turn on my car and it-??s perfectly normal-no warnings. I took it to the Honda services and showed them the video I took of the warnings because I was scared and felt unsafe driving it, but they told me to bring it back when the warning lights turn back on the dashboard. It was Normal for about a week, then the warning lights popped back up and it would start stalling/not accelerate again. I constantly had to turn my car off and on driving to Honda services. They told me nothing is wrong with the coolant, they did a diagnostic test on it and said it-??s the Computer module/electrical interference causing the warning lights/pumps not to not work. I believe it-??s the hybrid propulsion system recall 15V602000, I have a 2015 Honda Accord Hybrid but my VIN is not recalled" Is there anyway to add my vin to the recall" Please and thank you.

I had a high pressure fuel pump failure on August 14 2022. I was driving on the highway in stop and go traffic when suddenly my car could not accelerate over 30mph. This was dangerous not only for me but for others around me. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where they diagnosed it was a high pressure fuel pump failure. I was then told that this is a very rare part to have failed and there was no cause to the failure. There were no warning lamps, symptoms, or other messages prior to the failure.

I was coming out of a turn on a local street, going very slow. My vehicle ended up crossing the two lane road and hit a telephone pole. The pole did not fall down. Thankfully, neither myself nor my front passenger were seriously injured. We had on seat belts and the air bags DID NOT deploy. There was no warning of a crash in terms of instruments or trouble with handling. The vehicle motor was shut off because I tried to cut the motor after impact and it was already stalled. The vehicle was declared a total loss. No one to my knowledge did any safety inspections. I have since learned that the crash may be a result of some known defects in the model. I have never received any recall notices in the years of owning the car. I purchased as certified pre-owned in 2018. This is a courtesy notice to help others.

The engine makes a very loud rattle at cold startup for about 1 to 3 seconds. It only makes this noise when starting the car for the first time that day, unless it has been sitting for 5+ hours, then will rattle again at cold startup. Also, The engine burns 1 quart of oil approximately every 2500-3000 miles requiring additional oil to be added.

When vehicle is operating it will stall and turn off completely. All car will turn off and all the lights on the dash would flicker. It stalled on me when I was driving on the freeway. My car stopped as I was going 65 mph, cars behind be swerved as my car came to a complete stop on the freeway. The vehicle also does not start when trying to turn on. All of the lights on the dash will just flicker. I've changed the battery two times. I've got my car diagnose at auto zone and a fuel pump code came up. Took it to Honda to tell them my situation paid 130$ for them to tell me nothing is wrong. When they did the diagnose they said nothing came up on their end. Few days later I drove it and my car stalled out again. I took it to auto zone and they said nothing was wrong with my car. I am afraid if I drive it, it will stall and I will get into a crash. Nobody can diagnose the car because no code pops up anymore, but my car still stall out.

I've recently noticed small oil spots on my garage floor. My car does not accelerate smoothly and has also started to stall when I'm initially starting it. The stalling seems to be worse when the car has cooled off but once it finally starts, it is running rough until I hit a stable speed. It also seems to run rougher when making turns (which is typically when I'm attempting to accelerate). It has been happening for the past 3-6 months, although inconsistent. I've also had a new battery every year since I've owned this vehicle despite recalls on battery parts/sensors.

My car won't start on the first time I turn the key. I have to turn the key maybe 3-4 times to get the car started. I'm not sure what it could be. I've done research and I'm not the only one that has the problem. It may be a manufacturer problem.

The contact owns a 2015 Honda Accord. The contact stated that on several occasions while the key was in the ignition, the vehicle failed to start. The contact was able to start the vehicle after several attempts. The vehicle was taken to spring branch Honda (10250 katy freeway, houston, tx 77043, (713) 464-7482) to be diagnosed. The mechanic was unable to duplicate the failure. The battery was replaced 3 times however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer however, the mechanic was unable to duplicate the failure a second time. The contact referenced NHTSA campaign number: 19V060000 (fuel system, other) as possible solution for the failures. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 78,324.

The contact owns a 2015 Honda Accord. The contact stated that the vehicle made grinding and whining noises when the push button start was pressed. The contact believed that some of the gears were not matching up. Hennessy Honda of woodstock (8931 ga-92, woodstock, ga 30189, (770) 924-9000) stated that since the warranty was expired, they would not cover the expenses. The dealer also stated that there were no recalls; however, an unknown technical service bulletin had been issued regarding the failure. The manufacturer was contacted and stated that the vehicle was not under warranty. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was 82,000. The VIN was unknown.

Fuel system, other:delivery:fuel pump after having this recall done on my car, I am now having fuel issues as if its not getting enough fuel or it uses way to much. I used half a tank of gas to go 60 miles. And then on the way back I used 1/8 of a tank. This was all interstate miles but 10 miles and that was highway.
