The contact owns a 2016 Honda Accord. The contact stated that the trunk inadvertently closed while open. The contact stated that she and her boyfriend were struck by the trunk on separate occasions. There were no injuries. The vehicle was taken to Honda of fife (4301 20th St E, fife, wa 98424, (253) 922-2673), but the failure could not be duplicated. The manufacturer was notified and did not assist. The failure mileage was 10,600.
