This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Honda dealer.
The touchscreen entertainment system malfunctions and becomes unresponsive. You will not be able to change audio sources, volume or access the GPS system as the entire screen freezes for minutes at a time and then suddenly crashes. The system will reboot and the same thing will happened again.
It is especially bad with Apple Car Play and Android Auto. The screen will start glitching where you will see random pixels, boxes and lines appear on the screen. Then it will become unresponsive and eventually crash. The entire entertainment system is unusable about 30% of the time.
Honda has done nothing to fix it and denies it’s a problem. Pretends it’s your phone or something else causing it to happen. The hard drive for the computer system needs to be replaced in order to fix the problem, reformatting it doesn’t work. Costs at least $1500 CAD.

Media center failed. Stopped booting up. There was some activity, but the (lower) screen was unusable as a result.
Dealership promptly replaced the whole unit, which has an MSRP of about $700, or available online for about $540. (No charge for mine, since it was under warranty.) Car had 18 months of use, 5,292 miles on odometer.
All has been fine ever since, some 4 1/2 years later, now 11,490 miles.
