In 2017 I purchased a new Accord Touring. Shortly after purchase, I noticed the car would stall. I have taken the car back on several occassions to have it checked. Each time I have been told they can not detect anything and can not reproduce the issue. I have nearly been hit on a few occassions. I have also complained about the lane departure feature. It too has automatically and without reason over corrected, nearly causing collisions because it abruptly and without reason self corrected. The automatic breaking system has also enacted and caused unwarranted stopping. When the brake notification warning flashes on the dashboard, has caused me to react by applying pressure to the brakes even when it was unneccessary. This feature seems to wear down the brakes with the sudden and unwarranted stopping; even producing the smell of brakes and tires burning. All of these issues are extremely dangerous and can cause serious injury and even death nearly causing cars to hit me in the back. The lane departure and auto correction has caused the car to over correct and veer into other lanes or even off road. This is extremely concerning as it the auto correction can lasts for seconds and I was unable to stop it or regain steering control of the vehicle. These incidents have happened on several occassions and were reported to the dealership.

2017 Honda Accord sport SE. Has been losing power and stalling randomly. Restarts fine after pulling over and turning engine off.. when it starts to lose power the check engine light, anti-lock brake system light, and tire pressure monitoring system light all turn on. This has happened nearly 10 times on the city streets going 30mph and the freeways going 65+ mph. Extremely dangerous!! it has happened the past couple months and again each of the last few days.

When you let off the gas pedal and then reapply the car will not respond. You have to keep pressing and releasing the gas pedal til the car respond. It does it when leaving from a stop in traffic and if you are driving down the street.

Lost power while driving on hwy at 65mph. All lights came on and speed dropped instantly to 30mph. Wouldn't go over 50mph after letting the car sit for an hour. Mileage was at 37100. Happened again two months later. This time while driving 45mph the car stopped going and all lights came on. Wouldn't drive over 20mph. Picked up by tow truck and taken to Honda service department. Both times taken to Honda they said they found absolutely nothing wrong with the car even tho all the lights were lit up on dash. This is very dangerous and can result in crash.

1/10/2020 car wouldn't start. No previous problems. Called Honda roadside assistance they provide a jump start in which the car started. Drove the car right to david hobbs Honda. They performed test which said everything. 6/4/2020 my car did the exact same thing expect this time I did drive to the dealership after getting a jump start. Later that evening I went to start the car and it wouldn't start. 6/5/2020 morning the car wouldn't start. In all incidents the car would try to turn on but wouldn't, the keyless entry worked, all lights works. The steering wheel locked on all incidents. All incidents the car was stationary. 6/5/2020 my car was towed to david hobbs Honda and they notified me the was completely dead when it arrived nothing was working. They called back later in the day after doing testing and once again said all testing was fine. However, they would like to keep my vehicle overnight to see if my car would work in the morning and to do testing again. My vehicle is still at the dealership.

Current recall out for fuel issues, but the dealer is sure thats not the cause. Contact at the dealer was not helpful at all and kinda rude. Rushed me off the phone when I was asking questions. Accord

  • 8,000 miles
My 2017 Honda Accord coupe has just above 8000 miles on it and almost everyday will stall if I try to accelerate and also try to switch lanes from time to time. There have been so many times where the car will slow down drastically on the road and it is becoming very dangerous. I took it to the service station and since they couldn't find a code when scanning, they told me nothing was wrong and sent me on my way. The car hasn't stopped stalling and it looks like my model has a recall announced for it but it's for a V6 engine and not a V4 which is what I drive. The picture below shows all the lights that turn on from my dashboard when the car stalls.
