This is another known problem with this vehicle. As far as I know Honda has not come up with a solution. I did however find a temporary solution. I don't recall if I found it on this site or another blog, but I did have the service manager at Honda try it and so far it is working.
The issue is that the Navigation portion of the Heads Up Display, showing the direction you are driving as well as the name of the street you are currently on, disappears from the windshield. The first time it happened (shortly after I bought the car new) it came back on its own. The second time it didn't and that is when I started to look on line and had Honda address it during my visit for other issues (unresolved & added to this site).
TEMPORARY FIX: Disconnect the Negative battery cable only. Wait 10 seconds and reconnect. Do NOT remove the positive cable. Also, you may have to drive a short bit and restart the car for Navigation to reappear.
As mentioned, the blogger said it was not a permanent fix, so I would be very annoyed to have to continue this process as time goes on. One more thing for Honda to resolve.
