The contact owns a 2018 Honda Accord. The contact stated that when the vehicle was started and shifted to drive(D), the traction control and an unknown warning light were illuminated. The contact stated that the "Hill Start Assist Failure -?" Vehicle Might Roll Upon Brake Release-?? and -??See Dealer Immediately-?? messages were displayed. The contact turned off and restarted the vehicle, but the warning lights remained illuminated. The vehicle was towed to a dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the head gasket was blown and needed to be replaced, and the fuel pump that was previously replaced was faulty and needed to be replaced. The fuel pump was repaired, but the head gasket was not replaced. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 150,000.

The contact owns a 2018 Honda Accord. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds and depressing the accelerator pedal, the vehicle failed to respond as intended. The contact stated that the engine was revving, and the tachometer was showing an elevated RPM level before the vehicle slowly responded. The contact stated that there were several unknown warning lights illuminated on the instrument panel. Additionally, the check engine, traction control, and brake warning lights illuminated and remained illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed and determined that the turbocharger needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 143,000.

The contact owns a 2018 Honda Accord. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V858000 (Fuel System, Gasoline); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the check engine warning light, the brake light, and other unknown warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the fuel injectors had failed. The dealer charged a fee for the repair; however, the contact declined to pay for the repair and advised the dealer to complete the recall repair. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact to the dealer for diagnostic testing. The failure mileage was approximately 96,000. Parts distribution disconnect.
