The infotainment unit on the 2018 Honda Accord does not properly sync up with a music player (such as any given phone) over Bluetooth. This is manifested by the information from the previous track being shown while another track is playing. Honda has been unwilling to properly address the issue via a recall or a software update. Their typical response (to just about every issue) is to take it to the dealer, who is not able to properly troubleshoot and address issues which were caused by the Honda's failures in software (and hardware) development. Ad video of the issue is available (Honda dealer and Honda pretty much refuse to take the videos as an evidence of the issue).

My 2018 Honda Accord Ex-L 91,560 miles has an issue with the fuel pump/injectors while driving on the roadway and/or highway. My vehicle will come to a mid stop abruptly because it is not getting enough power to the engine from the fuel pump. This has caused safety issue to myself, passengers in my vehicle, pedestrians and and other drivers while operating my vehicle. Honda has been made aware of this issue and has over 650,000 vehicles manufactured between 2018-2020 with the same reported issue and has previously issued a recall for only certain 2018-2020 vehicles. Furthermore, Honda refuses to repair my 2018 vehicle under the recall for the same issue based on my VIN#. I have notified Honda of the inherent danger to myself and others and they have ignored the safety hazard and refuse to repair the fuel pump which typically has a life span of 250,000 miles or more.

After getting my car service the service dept. said my brake were ok, two months later my rear driver side brake pads were worn to the metal and my brake caliper needs to be replace along with that brake rotor, I complained I was just in here two months ago and you said they were ok and I asked why just one brake pad wore out they had no answer, I asked will my extended warranty will cover it and they said it would not be covered because it's normal wear and tear. also, all my Warning lights, will come on every once in a while, but by the time i go to the dealer they would cut off so now i just wait to the next day and turn the car off and on until the light go off, when i tell the dealer and show pictures of all the warning lights they say they cannot do anything until they see it themselves.

The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 20V771000 (Electrical System, Back Over Prevention, Visibility/Wiper, Visibility, Exterior Lighting) however, the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 50,000.

The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the collision mitigation braking system (CMBS), the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), the Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), and the Road Departure Mitigation (RDM) warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the failure could not be duplicated. Additionally, the contact stated that upon parking and turning off the vehicle, the doors failed to unlock. The contact stated that he was unable to unlock the doors by pressing the door lock switch or the key fob. The contact stated that his wife and himself remained locked in the vehicle for 30-45 minutes while the inside vehicle temperature rose to approximately 115 degrees F. The contact notified his friend who pulled the driver-??s side door several times from the outside and the door opened. Both the contact and his wife exited the vehicle. The vehicle was towed to the dealer who informed the contact that they could not duplicate the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but provided no assistance. The vehicle was traded in. The failure mileage was approximately 1,000.

While driving the vehicle loses power in traffic or on highway. The brakes won-??t stop and the gas won-??t accelerate. It-??s like the car dies the light all come on reading warnings Break mitigation system, Break ABS loss of engine power. I have had this looked at by the dealership and they just replaced the battery and the problem keeps occurring. I-??m scared as I travel with small children. I hope this matter is looked into because it cause myself and other having the same issue a serious accident.

The sensor is located under the license plate, and because of it being so low, anything that hits it on the road, such as a rock or insects, the sensor gets triggered. There-??s no protective cap on it. And every single light turns on the dash. Such as the collision, lane departure, brake system and cruise control.

While driving using ACC, the warning message -??Crash mitigation not working-?? comes on out of nowhere and the cruise control stops working. This has happened multiple times. Also, About a month ago, my whole left side of the dash completely stopped working. CAM DTC are the error codes and cruise control and necessary functions just stopped working all together. It feels very unsafe and unreliable.

Climate controls and dual climate control worked fine 1 week ago. However, as of yesterday (September 17, 2022), not only is the dual climate control not working, but I am NOT able to get heat from any vents after raising the temperature to 80?F. Currently the passenger's side vents blow cold air conditioned air, while driver's side doesn't. Moreover, air from driver's side vents feel tepid cool regardless of temperature setting. Winter is approaching, heat in the car will be needed to defrost windows.

Hi my car the date Monday 12 September 2022. The car don't start and on the display is warning. Brake system problem. Parking brake not available. Brake performance may be reduced. The rear right caliper side is all broken complete internally. This is a real safety problem.

I have had this vehicle since June 2018 and I have not had any issues until the last month or so. The first incident happened while driving to work and it was raining, when I turned into the parking lot a number of warnings started going off : Electric Parking Brake System Problem, Brake System Problem, Brake Hold System Problem, Electric Power Steering System Problem, Adaptive Cruise Control System Problem. Parked my car, went in my office and called the dealership. They told me it was most likely because of the rain and that the issue should resolve on it's own. By lunch time it had stopped raining, went to get lunch and the warnings were gone, but now when accelerating I would lose power. So I go the the dealership, they check to see what the issue is and they can't find anything. Told me to come back if it does it again. Few weeks later, driving down the interstate going 75 and I start losing speed for no reason and car almost crashes into me due to the dramatic decrease in speed and once again all the warnings are back on - but it's not raining this time! Honda can't find any issues and I'm so frustrated because it's a danger to me!

The contact owns a 2018 Honda Accord. The contact stated while driving 40 MPH, the speakers were making booming or humming sounds. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the contact was informed there was no failure with the vehicle. The contact researched and found that the vehicle had experienced the failure stated in the Manufacturer Service Bulletin: 21-053. The manufacturer was contacted and they stated that the repair would be an out-of-pocket expense. The failure mileage was 2,000.

On 6/6/22 the car had multiple Alarms came on the dashboard (break sys prob, emission prob, road dept mit, collision mit, break sys prot, aac sys prob, hill start asst prob, break performance prob). I called Honda Valley Stream informing them of the above. Got appt 6/8 I was told I would need to leave the car on 6/8 appt. On 6/8 approx 4pm rec a call from them to come get the car. Alarms only needed to be reset and rear camera recall was done. Next day all the alarms plus a few other returned. I went back and forth with Manger. I left the car Sat 6/11.Told it was injection fluid that's covered under warranty. Then later the manager called that it was CO2 built up and $413 to clean and take care of the problem. I paid for it and picked up the car. 6/15 during the day I noticed a problem with the steering and that car kept moving into the other lane, this got worst if I had to use the break. Later that night an alarm for Supplemental Restraint System. Ive notified Honda of Valley Stream of this new issue. Awaiting a resolution.

The contact took the vehicle to THE local dealer, where it was diagnosed with needing an unknown software program updated. The vehicle was repaired but continued to experience the failure. The contact ignored the warning lights and continued driving the vehicle. The contact took the vehicle to a second dealer; Lawley Honda (3200 E Fry Blvd, Sierra Vista, AZ 85635, (520) 333-6353) where the vehicle was diagnosed with needing an unknown computer wire to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, two days later she continued to experience the failure. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown. Consumer would like to withdrawal complaint.
