Steering wheel shimmies and shakes at speeds over 60 mph on highway. Car pulls out of lane w/O driver doing anything. Driver assistance notice appears on screen. 'lane departure' 'steering required' is the message. Occurs w/O warning sometimes 10 times within 15 minutes, other times less often. Unpredictability leaves driver tense! was told by mechanic Honda issued warning about this problem : JA02922. I have not been able to locate online. Mechanic said dealership needs to test drive and do a force or phase matching. Is this car safe to drive" do factory tires need replacement" we have 5000 miles on it and are driving across country to move from al to co...very stressful.

*****asterisks are used in case your system does not support paragraph separation. *****while traveling on the highway with lkas on and lane markers registered (per the readout on the instrument panel), the vehicle will attempt to steer toward the very edge of the lane near a large vehicle (pickup truck, semi, etc). If allowed to continue while allowing the system to control the steering, the vehicle will maintain this position. *****while driving on the highway with the Honda sensing suite on, the vehicle will occasionally register tar patches and skid marks as lane markers and road departure mitigation will attempt to steer away from the marking which means the vehicle may or may not attempt to leave its current lane. **** above are reproduced daily, one of which almost caused an accident by attempting to steer into (and almost reaching before I could react) the pickup truck in the next lane. *****incident occurred one time: During heavy braking on the highway to avoid a read-end collision, the vehicle attempted to leave its lane. Vehicle has approximately 6500 miles on it at the time of writing and was purchased in may of 2018.

This car has started to show signs of bad build quality. 1st 2 days after buying the car all the lights on the dash came on so I had to take it in for a module replacement. 2nd the car is very loud ( the road noise and engine noise) worse noise I've ever heard from a new car and sound like it's has exhaust leaks. T|E vehicles ride is very hard like the struts are worn or bottoming out and it's not the 17 inch tires as my Fusion has 17's. the vehicle is difficult to keep in its lane even with all of the lane keep technology I have a hard time staying straight especially when I hit bumps the car hops around like it has worn struts. The transmission shifts into 1st gear hard on pulling away from a stop.
