Honda finally made the recall in Canada. Had the ADAS software updated by the dealer free of charge. I rarely experienced the inadvertent braking over the last 7 years. It was not really an issue for my car but Honda should have done something sooner for owners. It happened a couple of times (on the highway) where the system picked up the car in the next lane as I passed it but the braking was not as harsh as online stories luckily. The car slowed quickly but not enough to lose control. Recall completed at no cost.
