The contact owns a 2019 Honda Accord. The contact stated that upon starting the vehicle, the vehicle inadvertently stalled. Upon restarting the vehicle, the contact became aware that the brake pedal was abnormally stiff, after which the "ABS Failure" message was displayed. The ABS warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer nor an independent mechanic. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 22,000.
