collision mitigation system malfunction

On at least 4 other occasions they collision mitigation system has stopped working, telling me "collision mitigation braking system problem see your dealer". It causes the collision system, lake keep assist, and cruise control to stop working. Turning the car off and on fixes the problem temporarily, but that's useless when you're in traffic on a busy highway. I even took a picture of the warning the last time it happened, but when I took it to be dealership they code had "mysteriously" disappeared with no record.

Honda is going to kill people with this faulty equipment that they apparently don't care to fix. I bought a Honda because I thought they were reliable. Turns out they are reliably pieces of s*** and the manufacturer won't stand behind their product, even under warranty.

collision mitigation system malfunction

I bought the car new in 2019. Since then I've experienced at least 10 incidents where the car has slammed on the brakes because it thought it detected something in front of me when there was clearly nothing there. It's extremely dangerous because cars behind me have almost slammed into me. Of course the car doesn't keep a record of this....piece of s***.

Collision mitigation did nothing to prevent accident. I get false sensor ghosts all the time in the same areas of driving and the dealer says there is nothing that can be done to remedy the issue.

The BRAKE alert had gone on inappropriately 4 times previously while traveling approximately 65 mph on an interstate hwy with NO CARS anywhere close. The 5th time the brake was activated momentarily, causing the car to fishtail and steer left. On this occasion, I was exiting a highway at about 50 mph to access another highway. Shook me up!
