This vehicle has a safety issue when it comes to snow on the ground and driving on a hill/incline. I was driving my vehicle through snow in the Ohio/WV region and when I tried to drive up a hill with snow on the ground the vehicle stopped. The vehicle would not accelerate and it seemed the engine just shut off. So I put the car in neutral and pushed the gas and I was correct the engine had no RPMs. This caused a huge safety issue to myself and the people driving near me. As I had ZERO control over the vehicle on an incline. The cars coming toward me and the ones behind me had ZERO issues with their vehicles going up this hillside. I tried three times to shut car off and back on so it would give me a few seconds of acceleration, allowing me to get up the hill a few more feet before shutting off again and possibly causing an accident. When I took it to my Honda dealer they stated computer showed no issues with the vehicle. And they have not heard of the engine shutting down or not having RPMs with snow on the ground. They recommended that I have tracking control off next time allowing me full control vs. the computer of the car however, I DID have it off. Once they heard that statement they informed me I have no other options. Honda did tell me when driving in snow other messages can go off and the car is still SAFE to drive. Which it needs to be as this area has tons of snow. However, that is not the case if the car just shuts off. Prior to the issue, the car kept beeping non stop with warning of break system & adaptive cruise control. My sensors were wiped off prior to the car shutting off. Yet again you can't keep a sensor spotless driving on a highway with snow. Two of the warning lights that showed on my dashboard were not listed in the manual. I am now afraid to drive my vehicle with any snow coming down. I have been a Honda owner since the 90's and I no longer trust this brand.

Upon accelerating on a highway, the malfunction indicator light came on and the car lost power. Without drive power it was very dangerous to maneuver to exit the freeway. The dealership recognized that this was due to issues with the intercooler and PGM-FI software for this vehicle and is spelled out in a technical service bulletin (Honda 21-052). However, even though the car is under the original warranty, they want to charge over $250 for the repair.

Vehicle repeatedly experiences a "cylinder misfire error" when driving above 45 mph. The check engine light will flash and the car surges like it is stalling. Loss of the ability to accelerate when it occurs. Also, the car shakes violently when the vehicle comes to a stop before turning off the engine. Many times, after restarting problem temporarily stops. I have taken it to the dealership multiple times, but problem is unsolved. Happens at least once a week. Started at 58,000 miles. More recently, the vehicle experiences a safety system failure when driving above 45 mph. 10 system warning lights were activated and will continually appear on instrument panel. Warning lights activated: 1. Hill Start Assist Problem 2. Adaptive Cruise Control System Problem 3. Collision Mitigation Braking System Problem 4. Road Departure Mitigation System Problem 5. Emission System Problem 6. Tire Pressure Monitor System Problem 7.Brake System Problem 8. Electric Power Steering System Problem 9.Vehicle Stability Assist System Problem 10. I had to boost my brothers vehicle because his battery was dead. Ever since then, the "charging system failure" notification has been on. Been on for about 1.5 years. Have not noticed any issues with the car but can't get the indicator to go off without bringing it to the Honda dealer and paying $150 for them to "check it."

Randomly my vehicles LKAS, ACC, blind spot monitoring will go out with a message to visit dealer. Also my exterior headlight controls won't work, turn signal stops working, backup camera stops working, rear trunk control, rear defroster. All steering wheel controls stop working as well. This can last for a couple days or as short as a few minutes. Every time I have taken it to the dealer the problem has 'fixed' itself and they can not find any errors. I have two videos I can share showing the errors. I did do a screen shot of the errors from the video and uploaded.

Rodent chewed the soy based wiring harness in the engine bay causing various fault codes: Electric power steering system problem, brake system problem brake performance may be reduced, tire pressure monitor system problem. Dealer removed intake manifold, throttle body, remove fuel rail and #3 injector. Repair connector wiring harness to #3 injector. Replace engine wiring harness. After the harness is replaced. There are still warning lights that will not clear. Pull engine cover and lower bumper cover at front/note that there is rodent damage on two other wiring harnesses removed and replaced front bumper wiring harness and engine to body wiring harness. Went into system and cleared all codes. Rechecked and steering needed to be initialized through the vsa system. Drove the vehicles for a few days and all the problems re-occurred again. Honda has a rodent repellent tape part # 4019-2317. However, service advisor did not have any knowledge that the service department sold this tape. This proves Honda is aware of the rodent issue of eating wiring harness.

I was on the freeway going about 75mph, when suddenly, my vehicle's cmbs system activated and slowed down speed to 20mph approx. Without having any vehicles in front or near me. Luckily, the driver behind me was not following close and was able to avoid a collision by switching lanes. I have taken my vehicle to the dealer twice, but no one can find or duplicate the problem. Moreover, a couple of weeks ago, when I was switching lanes, toward the right, the left warning light and beeping noise came on. So far, I have recorded nine incidents when the vehicle slowed down on its own, and four of those were on the freeway. I was forced to deactivated all "safety" sensors while I am driving to avoid anymore incidents or accidents.

On 3 different dates my 2019 Honda Accord sport had a power failure. I was going about 65 to 70 mph when each incident occurred. First time was around 12/12/2021.the engine or power shut off, RPM dropped all at once for about a minute then came back to life. The second time was 12/28/2020 on the same interstate 81fgoing about the same speed. This time I pulled off the interstate the car was still shut off. I restarted the car it drove ok and no more trouble that day. On 01/12/2020 it happened again on I 81 interstate and again it shut off or lost all power for about a minute then it recovered itself.this was a very bad situation as I was in 3 lanes of traffic with tractor trailers all around going 70 mph.I have reported this to miller Honda, three times. They took it in and tried to see if it would shut off on them.it did not at that time. Service manager could find nothing at that time. I have called Honda and registered a claim as I feel this new car with only 5,500 miles on it is not safe to drive.

On December 26, 2020, I was leaving work, after a 12 hour shift at the hospital. While backing into an alleyway my car struck a large roll-off dumpster (which was caddy cornered in the alley) of the back, driver quarter panel and back driver door. The rearview camera, blind spot warning, parking collision warning, the rear cross traffic warning, nor the automatic emergency braking kicked in. I was going at a very low speed at the time of the incident (~1-2 mph). My car had been warmed up prior to getting in it.I did not spend over 40K on a vehicle for the the safety features to not work when you need them to. I have noticed that I have also had issues with my lane departure warning and the forward collision warning has been not working 100% of the time recently, but that never bothered me before. What is upsetting is that I have already had to have Honda replace the front sensor due to my car throwing codes (lkas, adaptive cruise control & front collision warning) not functioning, as well as my back driver door lock (already gone bad). Now this. My car isn't even 2 years old.I took my car by my local dealership (priority Honda of roanoke) on 12/30/20 where I was told to contact american Honda because of the recall on the BCM on my car and was told that this most likely contributed to the accident. After contacting american Honda I was basically told that it is not a safety recall but a "non-compliance" recall and that the safety features they boast about are not actual safety features of the car and should not be relied upon in any case. So, they do not stand behind their vehicles. This incident could have been so much worse and I am thankful that it wasn't, but I am still sickened over this! I purchased a brand new car for its safety features that don't work, to be told by the manufacturer that they are not liable for their product not working correctly.

The instrument panel cluster and radio on the vehicle go black while vehicle is in operation and then it restarts. The issue started in January 9, 2020 with 5,259 miles, the vehicle does this between 1200 to 1800 miles. The latest incident occurred on November 17, 2020 with 19,804 mile. I have taken the vehicle to the dealership five times to get the issue resolved. Dealership indicates that instrument cluster has been replaced and updates have been installed. I have been in contact with Honda corporation as well. I have included pictures of the instrument cluster and also a work order and what update they did to the car.

When I went to start my car after parking it in a parking lot, my car wouldn't start. The control panel was flashing on and off and stated that there was an issue with the brake system and to see my dealer. I had the car tolled to Honda. After inspecting the car, they told me there was a defective cell in the battery and they replaced the battery. I purchased my car brand new last year in 2019 yet this defective battery caused me to be stranded, which I don't expect to happen with an essentially new car.

I have tried contacting Honda and going to the dealership multiple times to get this taken care of but everything is perfect they say. Just yesterday the car hit the break on it's own when the car on the other side was clearly on the other lane the car made a horrible sudden stop that caused bruising to my neck and also my passenger got hurt with everything that flung from the backseat he said the tug was too much. We thought someone had hit me. This isn't the first time the car has done this I feel I get constant tire pops because of this car veers me off into a lane that isn't even there. I have witnesses that say I have a lemon car I always say no but this last incident was too much for me. Also the charger port not usb has not worked since day one another thing they said was working again nothing. I went back and they said I had no warranties. I have called Honda trying to get to the bottom of this and going to the dealer they said U signed so take care of it. At this point I am in the process of purchasing a new vehicle cash and I am not even 1% intersd in keeping this car. If I have to return voluntarily I will have to. I have been patient but it's absolutely ridiculous that I was put into this vehicle being a supposedly upgrade " from my 2017 Honda coupe V6. This car needs a recall on lane departure, sensors, electrical it is not a car I feel safe in. I do not trust to let it drive on it's own and for good reason. What am I paying for then " I would have crashed into a car by now if I trusted it. I have proof of the three tires I have had to get in the past theee months and I don't drive much at all 9K miles in a whole year. Pics on bottom show how the damage comes from the sides due to the car going straight then making sudden turns that hit curbs. The sensors seem to be getting worse instead of better.
