Car goes into limp mode, no acceleration huge safety issue

Honda knows about these issues and turn a blind eye, this started happening shortly after buying it used, the car goes into limp mode, no acceleration, therefore, huge safety issue if you are driving on the freeway and this happens and you can't get to the side of the road. This is an intermittent problem that can happen driving five miles or driving 400 miles, it can be months. It can go months without any issues, or a day where it happens a couple times? Shut the car off turn it back on and no problem and no codes to detect. Had it in multiple times, however this last time they tell me it's the number 4 cylinder that is misfiring. The repair costs is $11k
