Head gasket issue, misfiring whiles in the middle of the road
- Austintown, OH, USA
Vehicle displayed numerous warning lights and messages like Emission system problem and other messages on the cluster gauge. Traveling on the interstate, the vehicle would not accelerate or maintain proper speed. Turned on the emergency flashers to warn other drivers to avoid an accident. Brought it to the dealership and found code P0087 Fuel Rail Pressure Too Low and informed me that the low pressure fuel pump is bad and needs to be replaced. The vehicle is out of warranty as it has ~85k miles.

Woke up and started my car, all the lights were on including engine light. no adapter cruise, steering light was on. Screen also was saying avoid speeding. Every notification was telling me go to the dealer ship. I took it Howdy Honda in Texas and they said we will need to do a diagnostic and it was for 255 for to see what the problem was. They looked and said I had code for po172(rich) and misfire on p0301 told me I need to replace fuel injectors. Which cost 1933$. Which is way too much and fuel injectors a labor should be covered under Federal Emissions Warranty but they said no. So I am filing a recall for fuel injectors for my 2022 Honda accord sports se. I am unable to drive because it-??s in limp mode. I also have documentation from howdy for quote.

Car engine suddenly stalled on a number of occasions - as if vehicle went from drive to neutral - essentially losing forward moving power. Car alert said there was an issue with the electronic break, and dealer failed to identify a remedy.

Fuel injector pump went bad o the car and it caused the dashboard to light up and the advance driver assistance systems to malfunction. Took the car to the dealer and they confirmed it was a bad fuel injector pump. I took my vehicle to the same dealer service center on 11/05/2024 and nothing suggested the fuel injector was going bad. The car runs like normal and doesn-??t have any hesitation when driving. I googled the car symptoms and there are several other drivers that reported the same issue for the same model car. Honda told me there is a recall but it does not cover my vehicle.

Ive previously reported on here Errors I was getting, when pushing the gas, MULTIPLE all engine lights going off at once. Its like when you push the gas, the engine stallls, and then all the lights light up; The turbo charger errors; Fuel Sys 1 error; Fuel Sys 2 error; etc. The Cruise Control on does the same thing - especially if there is any type of incline. I know that MANY other Honda owners are experiencing the same and saw their complaints; I see there is now a recall, but WHY is my car NOT showing on here, when clearly it should be. Im asking for a file number and an investigation. Where can I go to get this looked at? Nobody is following up with me. I believe this is fitting Recall21V-215 or 20V-314

On 9/20/2024, the dashboard on my 2022 Honda accord flashed 11 information alerts, including brake hold system problem, emissions systems problem, electric power steering, vehicle stability assist, hill start assist problem, adaptive cruise control system problem, collision & road departure mitigation braking system problem, TPMS, brake system problem. I purchased car with less than 50 miles on it in 2021 and had no major issues prior to this. Car has less than 50,000 miles.

This occurred twice both happened on the highway going 65 mph. I accelerated as usual, suddenly the check engine light began blinking and I lost the ability to accelerate (limp mode). The car instantly dropped to 20 mph. After a minute, the check engine blinking light went away. Both times I was luckily able to get off of the highway going 20 mph. The first occurrence, I turned the car off for 30 minutes. After turning back on, car was fine as if nothing happened. The second occurrence, after calling Honda they recommended towing to dealership, which I did. At my dealership, they drove a lot, but could not duplicate issue. However, there was code DTC P0304 misfire. From the dealer paperwork "cylinder 4 swap spark plugs to known working plug misfire gone recommend replacing all plug random misfire. Removed and replaced all spark plugs." Since this repair two weeks ago, I have not had any issues and the acceleration feels less sluggish than before. This is a VERY serious issue that could result in injury or death if it occurs to others!
