We purchased our Accord new and as soon as we drove it off the lot we noticed it slightly pulled to the right. The night before we test drove a red one and last minute the following morning we decided to change to a blue one so we never test drove it cause the dealer said both are brand new so both drive the same. It was a Saturday we purchased it and had plans so we didn’t turn around I just called the dealer that following week. They said it was a brand new car and wouldn’t have an alignment issue and that’s just how the car is designed to be. So we thought it would be fine. It just pulled very slightly.
We went in for the first oil change before 5000 miles and we had them look at the alignment. They said it was off slightly. They realigned it. The next day it started pulling again to the right took it in again that same week they said the alignment was off again, so they realigned it the next day after that it started pulling to the right again so we had to drop the car off at the dealership and Honda created a tech line and they sent out a Honda engineer to the dealer. They said he spent all day on it And found out there was something wrong with the sensors and the calibration he recalibrated them and about three days after the car started pulling to the left this time we took it to the dealer they said our next thing would do is to call Honda corporate, and try to do a buyback program, but they said more than likely Honda wouldn’t buy this car back so we just traded it in. we love the car, but for only 6000 miles it had a lot of steering problems we weren’t gonna deal with.
