Purchased car in June 2018 and got 47 plus average MPG per tank full (high 51.1). As weather got colder MPG dropped (low 40.1). As weather has warmed in 2019, MPG is increasing again (high 53.4). I have recorded MPG for each fill-up. As the first year approaches, I will not average the reported 47.0 MPG. I put 110 miles per work day on the car, and need the best MPG obtainable. Had I known that MPG varies with temperature, and the extra money for a hybrid, I would have reconsidered buying it.
