l am absolutely distraught about these shock absorbers having to be replaced on my Honda Brio especially at 47000km. As you can see by the 'Shock Test results' (Attached), they are really low and according to Honda Brio, it is a common problem. All fair and well, but surely they would have picked up this fault on the first 2 services. It looks to me that they may have picked it up but neglected to tell me because they would of had to pay. So by the time l sent it in for a 45000km (47000 on clock) service, they decide to tell me that l need to replace the Shock Absorbers and that the back one is leaking. So my warranty has expired and this whole episode is going to cost me a lot of money. What is freaking me out is l don't have thousands of Rands to get new ones.

Just to add the cherry on the top, l went back to Honda a few days after l had the car serviced to ask why my car was struggling to start (didn't want to start while l was there), they asked me to pop the bonnet and then asked me if l still had the original battery (I said it was the original). They then told me to go and have it tested. I then went to another place to have the battery tested, and it was on the 'WEAK' part of tester. So l had to put a new battery in as well.
