passenger door buzzes when locked and unlocks itself
So this is the third time the actuator has failed. Turns out Honda now has an updated door lock actuator and latch assembly. It will cost almost $500 to repair. I wrote a nice letter to Honda saying that because this was a part failure I feel they could compensate me by doing the repair for free or providing the part for free. Their reply was NO because... I don't have my car serviced at a Honda dealership, I didn't buy my Honda from a Honda dealership, this is my first Honda, it is 15 years old/with too many miles and there is no warranty (duh? really!). Because of these reasons I am not considered a valued Honda customer so my request was denied. I told their customer rep that I wouldn't be driving a 15 year old car if I didn't have to (even though the car looks pretty great because I take care of it). The rep was nice but the questions he was asking were dumb and we played phone tag forever. It would have been better if they just left me a message saying no instead of going through so much trouble in trying to contact each other. If they had to rebuild a bad part they should take care of the problem especially being the 3rd time it's failed. So now my door buzzes loudly when I lock it and sometimes when returning to the car it's unlocked creating safety issues. Thank you for your time!!

2nd time actuator had to be replaced in less than 2 years. My mechanic felt so bad they charged me for the part and did the labor for free even though it was not their fault.

When locking pass door there would be a loud buzz, it was determined the lock actuator needed to be replaced. Problem was fixed by my local mechanic
