- the contact stated that on 12/29/06 while driving on a clear day at 70 mph she hit the back of another vehicle. The contact stated that vehicle in front of her applied the brakes and she did the same thing. The contact stated that the ABS brakes didn't properly work and she hit the back of the other vehicle. The contact stated that when she applied the brakes they failed, and the pedal went to the floor without resistance. The contact smell edsmoke and rubber. The contact stated that the police was called, and while waiting for a police office she did apply the foot to the brakes and the pedal was stuck in the same position from the crash. After the police took the report, they started the vehicle and the brakes did go back to its proper position.ak
