I bought this honda "Used As Is" from a dealer 2 1/2 years ago. Some months later it felt like the accelerator would rev up when I hit the brakes like for Ex: coming up to Stop Lights,Parking Spaces,Stop Signs etc.So after a couple of more times I thought it was maybe the floor mats were doing this malfunction so, I replaced them. I thought that would solve but the problem started reoccurring several months after that. And from time to time this would occur again

Today was the worse, as I was pulling into a gas station some guy on a bicycle, shot in front of my path as I was pulling in I applied the brakes but felt the accelerator moving up I then hit the brakes really hard and at the same time with my right hand I began to turn off the ignition but the problem remedied itself the dude thought I was prolly an A.H.,impatient, whatever, thank god he didn't get hurt

My Question: Is there anything I can do to remedy this problem like contact Honda Corp I know I bought this vehicle "used" but couldn't it also be termed as a defect or would I need a mechanic's advice or what?? Any type of advice ,suggestion's,etc would be appreciated.

Outside of this' problem" I like my CRV and have had no other problems with it

Thanks in advance
