problem #2

Sep 032012

CR-V LX

  • Automatic transmission
  • 212,000 miles

Something popped and smelled and then the power windows switch on the driver size is not working. Even the manual lock is not working too. Right now I have to lock and unlock from the passenger side. I think this should be in the recall for electrical problem. I saw one post on this issues as well for this Japan made model too. We need to contact all the 2004 Japan made CRV to see if this is widespread.

Update from Nov 10, 2014: I have the same problem as the blog #17 from Garden Grove California. Please help each other and let Honda knows about this and have them fix the defective power switch for the Windows and door.

problem #1

Dec 012013

CR-V

  • Automatic transmission
  • 109,594 miles

I'm just reporting the faulty door lock that doesn't work with the remote. Had new battery and remote replaced, but that's not the problem and using the key is getting annoying. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired nor was the manufacturer notified of the defect problem and the mileage at the time of failure was 109,594
