I had a Honda CR-V 2005 LX. My wife parked it inside the Corp Office covered parking lot before 7 am. After 9 am, she gets a call saying there is a vehicle emergency
The driver side master switch caught fire and spread to the front of the car and now it is completely burnt inside
The fire dept and the police dept were called, investigated and concluded it was the master switch issue due to the origin and the pattern of burn. I had also showed them the recall notice and the fix that was applied by the Edvoyles Honda authorized dealer
I had informed national highway safety board, Honda corp and also my Farmers insurance immediately
Upon inviting Honda people, Honda Corp was not really interested to come and take a look in terms of safety to prevent other owners of Honda CR-V from having similar experience since it was a "recalled switch" that is faulty
They did not ask for the burnt vehicles photos nor fire & police dept reports etc etc - really surprised
Either they do not care or they knew this is a issues and tried to play dumb or both.....
Just another incident for them to document and move on. :-(
If the vehicle has caught fire inside my garage, my house would have burnt down.
Insurance gave me the money minus the deductible, Honda is no longer picking my calls, not returning my calls, when I left the voice mails to call me back.

No apology, no explanation , nothing from Honda.
So cheap of Honda.
Looking at next steps and options
Any suggestions is highly appreciable
