My CRV suffered electrical problem when it lost power on December 1. Next day, it was towed to the Honda dealer. Day after, car was released and was told that a fuse busted. A week after, same problem occurred. Car was then picked by dealer mechanics and brought to their shop. For 12 days it stayed in the shop and after daily follow ups, they still could not find the problem. On December 23, car was returned to me and I was instructed how to change the fuse should it busts again. On December 26, fuse did get busted when I used the car. On December 27, my husband read the owner's manual only to find out that the fuse pointed out was fuse# 8 (Not Used) while the technicians mentioned then that the fuse that kept on busting was fuse #9 (Drive By Wire)! My husband pointed the mistake by calling the technician and he acknowledged. We were then advised to bring back the car on January 5, 2009 since the shop will be closed for the holidays. We were very inconvenienced this holiday season since we were not able to use the car. The lack of knowledge by the technicians aggravated the matter. I have filled up a complaint at the Honda Philippines website last December 22 regarding their dealer Honda Kalookan. Up to now, I have not received any assurances yet that my car will be fixed. Is there really truthfulness in Honda's so called "customer service" satisfaction? I guess simple people don't deserve attention to their complaints. But I believe simple people make up the millions of consumers and buyers of their automobiles.
