CR-V

  • Automatic transmission
  • 65,000 miles

This is a 2005 Honda CRV. It was bought new from Proctor Honda in Tallahassee, Florida. The car has 65000 miles on it. I took it to the dealer to fix, I was told it was the Torque Converter that was bad. The Service Advisor said that this Should Not Have Happened to this car with this amount of miles. He went to the office and when he came back I was told that it would cost me $ 1400.00 to fix but that Honda would pay 15% of it. QUESTION; If this should not have happened why should I have to pay anything ?

I sent a letter to Mr. Martin Proctor, CEO of the dealership NO REPLY from Honda CEO.

I am now considering painting lemons on the car with the dealers name and how I got screwed by Proctor Honda. I also own a business and plan to give out flyers to customers and others about unfair business practices by the dealer.

Thanks for letting me vent.
