I have experienced at least 5 front windshield chips in my 05 Honda CRV. I've only owned this vehicle for 5 1/2 months. 2 of the 5 have required repairs. I am certain I will require a complete new windshield in the near future. The sound of impact does not indicate that any damage should be caused, however the Honda windshield is like paper. I feel it is in my best interest to replace my current windshield for fear of further property damage and or injury to myself and my passengers.
