CR-V SE 2.4L V4

I open the back door of my CRV & door just pop up, door hang out on the body, didn't fall on the ground but heavy door was hard to put it back. I talked to dealer they told me it will cost me $435 plus labor I don't want to spend. I think Honda should fix the problem free because it is a safety issue.
