When I got the car, I didn't need to touch the gas pedal when starting it. Over time, I noticed that as the engine turned over, I would pump the gas once or twice. Then, sometimes, the engine wouldn't catch and I'd wait several seconds and try again, where it would start without a problem. A bit harder to start in a cold morning than after having driven several miles. I decided to replace it before it went from annoying to awful.
