When I unlocked all the doors - the front passenger door lock opened but then retracted and the door would not open - I clicked the open switch several times and was finally able to open the door - but then the switch seemed to jam again - further research indicated that the actuator is the cause. This appears to be a potentially serious issue - if the door will not open in the event of an emergency - at the very least it is frustrating to have to remember to try to open the door as soon as it is activated otherwise it will retract and not open. I have in the interim tried applying some white lithium grease to the inside and it appears to help temporarily - but the actuator will eventually have to be replaced. I was trying to inquire if this shouldn't be a recall or reimbursement for repair from Honda.....

The automatic locks and door lock actuators seem to be malfunctioning. The locks will randomly unlock and lock miles into a drive. When the door is locked with the side door button on either the drivers side or passengers side the actuator makes a horrible noise. When the key is used to unlock the vehicle the actuator makes a horrible noise as well.

Last week I go to lock my car and is keep pushing lock on my clicker and it never beeps. So I go back to my car and look and all the doors are locking except for my drivers side. I end up manually locking it and when I come out it works fine. Now today (three days later) it is doing it again expect this time it locks extremely fast. I hit unlock to get out of my car and if I do not get out fast enough the door locks on its own while all the other doors stay unlocked.

The contact owns a 2007 Honda CR-V.the contact stated that the rear driver and rear passenger side doors failed to lock or unlock remotely or manually. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed with a fractured lock actuator. The vehicle was repaired but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 30,000 and the current mileage was 38,000.

The door lock on both the drivers side door and the drivers side rear door have been having problems with the door lock actuator where the door will not securely lock when the door lock is activated. The back drivers side door in particular will initially lock then slowly unlock within 2 seconds and the front door will sometimes just not lock at all, almost like it is stuck.

The rear passenger door locks and unlocks while driving. One day my son had a difficult time getting out of the car because as soon as he unlocked the door it would lock again. Concerns I have are someone getting in my car while I'm stopped at a light, etc. Or a child opening the door from inside while the car is moving. It doesn't seem to matter how fast or slow the car is moving, it will still lock and unlock on its own.

The front passanger side door immediately locks itself after being unlocked. It happens when the door is being unlocked from the inside with the lock/unlock button on the door. It also happens when you use the key fob. As soon as you unlock the doors the front passanger side door locks itself.

Doors in vehicle lock and unlock themselves while driving. Problem appears to happen around the speed of 15 mph, both while accelerating and breaking, ie: Slowing down to eventual stop. While this occurs, it is possible to open the door, even as the vehicle is in motion. Lock "sounds" are also heard as the locks engage, and disengage while driving. This happens every time we drive. Also, when the car is parked and we attempt to lock the car; both with the buttons on either the driver side and passenger side, or the button on the key fob, the drivers side lock makes an unusual sound, like the door is attempting to lock, but something is "off track". when this occurs, the drivers side door is unable to lock. Because of this, we cannot set the alarm on the vehicle, which allows anyone to enter the vehicle at the driver side and the hatchback. This problem occurs about 70% of the time. Further research into this issue shows that several others have experienced this malfunction in most Honda crvs between the years 2007-2010. Usually occurs on or around the 50K mile mark, when the factory warranty is no longer effective. Because Honda will supply customers with the same actuator as already equipped in the vehicle, the problem is not corrected, and eventual repeat of same defects occur.

The door immediately locks itself after being unlocked with the key fab. The door key will not unlock the door when inserted and turned. The door does the same thing when being unlocked from the inside with the lock/unlock button on the doors. As soon as you unlock the door with the button it locks itself.

My doors lock and unlock on their own whenever I start to move after being stopped. Sometimes they will randomly lock and unlock while I am driving at a slow speed. When car is parked and I need to get in, I have to stand right by it with my hand on the handle to pull while hitting the key fob button because it will lock itself so quickly, I have no time to get in the car. I have already had this fixed once, and now it is doing it again. I don't want to pay to fix this again, but it is very annoying, and I am afraid of getting stuck in or out of my car at some point.

Passenger front door does not stay locked. When I reach 9 mph doors lock and front passenger lock slowly unlocks. Then every time I slow down and then go over 9 mph it locks and unlocks. I can not leave anything in car as I am afraid someone can just open the door and steal the car or whatever may be in it. Honda dealer says this happens and I can pay them $350 and that may help but no guarantees. I can't even sell the car this way. This is irresponsible on the part of Honda. This is my first and last Honda.

The first time I noticed a problem was when I put the key into the ignition it would give a zzzzzsound. Several days later the door would not unlock and I had to exit on the passenger side.later I had to climb over the console to drive the car home. Later on, I was able to unlock the door. However, within days of that incident, the driver's side door continues to lock and unlock within seconds as I drive the car. I can no longer lock the door with the key fob or manually. I feel that this car is no longer safe.

The power door locks keep locking on their own immediately after you unlock them. This can happen even if you unlock them with the auto key fob or the inside door switch. I have also been unable to use the auto key fob to unlock the doors & had to use the key in the door. I have even had the doors relock themselves right after you stop the car & put it in park. (normally the car auto locks all doors when you drive over about 10 mph, then auto unlocks the doors once you stop & put it in park). So I've been locked in my car while I keep using the door unlock switch or my key fob to try to get out. God forbid I had to exit my car in an emergency! I've also been afraid of dropping or leaving my car keys on my seat or in my purse (while it's in the car) when I hop out of the car, then accidentally shutting my car door. I would be locked out.

My Honda CR-V 2007 just started to have problem with the door lock/unlock system. I started to notice the problem probably in November 2013. The car locking default set-up was at 15mph (meaning even if I forget to lock the doors, they will be locked when the car reach 15mph). However, one of the door just unlock all by itself right-after it get locked. This is a huge safety concern if you have kids in your car. I realized many CR-V owners have the same problem, but Honda decided not to do anything about it.

My front passenger side door will not stay locked. Each time I lock it, all the other doors stay locked except this door. I can not manually lock it, therefore my car is now subject to vandalism or theft.
