CR-V EX 2.4L Dohc

  • Automatic transmission
  • 139,000 miles

You have to practically tear down the whole engine to replace this part. Not a easy fix at all. And get a used Honda Starter from Junk Yard the aftermarket are junk.

CR-V 2.4L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 203,168 miles

Finally after 203,168 miles my car will not start. I been having 3 weeks of problems with it starting after the 2nd or third crank. I wasn't going to complain because I loved this car even with all the problems it had. But I have had it up to here ^ ! 1st the faulty door locks. Then the air conditioning. I need to drive to each appointment to get paid. Honda your better than this. I am probably the 1st of many to come. I hope your prepared!

CR-V ES 3.2L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 40,000 miles

Starter ceased in the dead of winter on a vehicle that was only just over 3 years old requiring a pricy tow to the dealership. The reason I've purchased a Honda and paid a premium was for reliability, reputation, and dependability! Guess I was wrong!! A starter should not go on a car with approx 40,000 miles and only 3 years old. I think there's something to be said about buying a lemon!
