I am having door lock issues with all my locks on my car. It started with my front passenger and now both rear are also having issues. When I click the unlock button on the keyfob they unlock then lock again. Same with the unlock button on the drivers door. When I'm driving (accelerating), the drivers door will click as if it is trying to lock even though it already is.

My front passenger door lock is malfunctioning. When one tries to unlock the door, the lock immediately goes back to the lock position. It is easily demonstrated for inspection. It is unsafe for the passenger in case he needs to quickly exit the car in an emergency. After researching this problem today, I just learned that there was a class action suit against Honda concerning this issue and the plaintiffs won. But unfortunately for me the time period that Honda agreed to cover the cost of repairs expired in 2015. I purchased my pre-owned 2007 Honda CRV in 2016 and my passenger lock began malfunctioning in 2018. I looked up a recall on this issue but did not find one. I did not come across information on the law suit at that time.

Passenger Door Lock Actuators are not working properly on front passenger and rear doors. Doors may be unlocked from the outside or inside but will immediately lock again with 1-2 seconds. This is a major safety issue in the event of an emergency as one may be trapped in the car or not be able to get to a person in the car even once the doors are 'unlocked' they will only remain unlocked for 1-2 seconds. I do not feel safe nor do i feel safe having my wife or kids in the car as a result of this issue.

I had issues with the horn blowing itself when I made certain turns and when I took my car to Honda they told me the spacer between the horn and the airbag had disintegrated and they found no evidence of it even being in there they don't know what happened but there's no recall they're only fix unless I paid thousands of dollars to replace the airbag was unhook the horn now I'm having to drive around with a Honda with no horn because they say there's no recall on this

Hello, My vehicle's door motors or actuators are not working, specifically the driver side back door and the rear baggage door. This happened as we were trying to get into the vehicle while it was raining heavily on the side of the road due to an emergency toilet brake. This of course was frustrating as we were trying to get into the car and put stuff in the car, and put us in harms way of upcoming traffic because some of us could not get in. This problem has been rampant by Honda Motor company and they had a recall regarding this issue. There were no warning lights for this. We just heard a loud buzz when we tried to open the doors.

I have a 2007 Honda CRV, I am the original owner. I have had issues with the locking system from the beginning. I brought it to the dealer and was told they couldn't find a problem. I went back for a recall and the dealer told me they didn't have the parts at the time. I should bring it back. My fault here, life got in my way (divorce, pandemic, etc.) I went back to the dealer, they replaced the drivers side door lock (still warenteed) but said the other locks were no longer under warrenty and it would cost approx 300$ for my passenger side lock. Additionally, they fixed the drivers side lock and now the trunk hatch won't open

It is more of a concern than a complaint as of right now. Transport Canada has issued a recall for 2007-2011 Honda Cr-vs (https://wwwapps.tc.gc.ca/saf-sec-sur/7/vrdb-bdrv/search-recherche/detail.aspx?lang=eng&rn=2019025) that operate in Ontario, quebec and maritime Canada where road salt is used for winter road de-icing. I live in state which borders quebec. We have a similar climate and rely heavily on road salt for winter road de-icing. The recall issued by Transport Canada (# 2019025) identifies that road salt can cause the rear frame to rust. And this corrosion could potentially result in a rear-trailing arm separating from the vehicle. Honda has provided a remedy. Vehicles are inspected to ascertain the safety of the vehicle. Vehicles that pass the inspection are applied a sealant to protect against future corrosion. Vehicles that fail the inspection are either repaired or bought back by Honda. Given that usage of road salt in northeastern states that border Canada is most likely comparable to the identified region where the Transport Canada recall applies, shouldn't vehicles operating in regions of the us that rely heavily on road salt be subject to the same level of safety scrutiny?

The front passenger door lock got jammed 3 times since 2014. Met with an accident in Jan 2014 with impact on the driver side.driver side lock was working but passenger side lock got jammed.the passenger couldn't come out due to that, endangering their life.got repaired from Honda dealer, repairs paid by the insurance even though it was under warranty.in 2015, I went to same Honda dealer for recall of driver side lock accuator.they fixed the driver side but didn't fix the passenger side lock even though they were informed about the persistent problem with passenger side lock by me.it was under extended warranty in June 2015. Had another minor accident in 2016 in another state and passenger got stuck in the vehicle again.we got it repaired at a local repair shop since no Honda dealer was closeby..on May 26,2018 the passenger side door lock jammed again when brakes were applied suddenly on the freeway.the passenger got stuck again in the vehicle.I called american Honda corporation and informed them about this recurring problem with passenger side door lock jamming again and again.this is playing with the life of the passenger because they can't escape in an emergency..they gave me a case number and directed me to go the Honda dealer.case no is 08726902..the Honda dealer informed that the lock needs to be replaced and cost of replacing it is approx $400. I called Honda Corp again and informed them about the repair cost.they informed me that they can't help with this problem and I will have to bear the cost.I I also informed them that this is not a matter of cost of repair but matter of life when the lock gets jammed frequently. I was very rudely told not to call them for this problem.. we have nobody to turn to regarding addressing this life threatening problem and we are spending our money for repair cost. The vehicle has only 42000 miles.kindly investigate.

In December 2017 the power door lock actuators failed on the front passenger and tailgate, so the doors could not be opened, even manually. I had to crawl across the center console to exit the car. This could be very dangerous if it happened during an emergency situation. We were parked in a parking lot at the time. A recall had been ordered after a class action suit was filed in 2015, but only the driver's side door was included. That was replaced and the warranty was extended for the other doors for only 6 months from the date of the settlement. I was responsible for the cost of replacing two actuators that were obviously factory defects. Honda refuses to reimburse me or replace the actuators on the other two doors that will someday have the same problem. I was told by them that would only pay if ordered to do so by a court.

I had my door lock replaced on the driver side after the recall a few years ago. However, just 2 weeks ago the front passenger door lock went from automatically unlocking and locking and graduated to a loud strange scrapping noise every time I drive the car. The noise is very alarming because it happens intermittently while I proceed after astop or turning a corner to slow down or after I turn the car on. It always happens two times after I turn the car on.

Driving at 60 miles per hour on the highway when the vsa and other dash lights came on, the vehicle semi-stalled out, and cruise control went out. It self corrected and I kept on going. This happened 3-4 times during a 60 mile drive. Then just the check engine light came on - I drove home without incident. Today my mechanic hooked it up to a computer and it is a PCM problem. There was a recall on 2007 CR-V's for a tcm/PCM problem in 2011 but according to american Honda it is "VIN specific" and my VIN doesn't have this recall problem. But my car has this problem, it sounds serious, and now I must pay to have it fixed :( I won't ever buy another Honda!
