I was traveling approximately 25-30 mph when a woman driver failed to stop at a stop sign which caused me to hit the side of her car. My seatbelt retracted and save me, however the airbag did not deploy. There was however a scent of burning or a chemical reaction inside the cabin. I was under the impression that airbags will deploy at more than 10 mph upon impact. Clearly I was going faster than 10-15 mph. I am wondering if something was a miss.
