Honda has been scrimping trying to keep costs down. Probably using Chinese sub contractors for some parts. The leaking strut problem is not readily noticeable unless the seal goes before you park it at home and notice the oil. I replaced it myself as it was just off warranty. I would say that most of the people having the tire problems have this particular problem. When mine went there were still no shock companies making aftermarket units and had to buy another Honda part. I used to work for Auto Dealers and my advice is stay away unless you have warranty work to be done. Familiarize yourself with the true service schedule which can be found on line and follow the maintenance minder on your dash and get your local mechanic to do the things you can't. There will be a large discrepancy between the factory service schedule and the dealership one which means a lot of money out of your wallet for nothing.
