My mom pushed on the brakes while leaving a parking structure. She was going 8-10 miles per hour. As she got closer to the car in front if her, she pressed the brakes, but instead the car became out if control and ran into the car in front of her and then pushed through a light pole and knocked it down. The car was totaled my mom was shaking and in shock at what had just happened. My mom is a good driver with a clean 30 year record. We believe the brakes malfunctioned. One other person reported the exact same thing on line.

We want this to go on record in case it happens to anyone else, the brakes could have killed someone.

We are grateful no one was seriously hurt.

As I was approaching my destination, I applied the brakes and the automobile appeared to gain considerable acceleration and projected over a curb and into the opening of the store I was going to go into. This resulted in considerable damage to the establishment and injury to me. I was taken to the ER and they found that I had a fractured sternum.

I have done research on this problem and found that it was an issue in some of the Honda's. I believe that the accident was a result of faulty equipment on this vehicle.
