The contact mentioned that the vehicle became hard to maneuver and the power steering assist failed. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer who refused to honor his warranty because of a road hazard that caused the failure. The dealer stated that a rock punctured the condenser in the A/C system which caused the freon to leak out. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact called the manufacturer and was offered no assistance. The current and failure mileages were approximately 10,000.
