Drivers side door lock is stuck and will not open. I had to crawl out of the passenger door to exit the vehicle. After exiting the car I tried locking and unlocking the car using the fab. Once the doors were locked none of the doors would open using the fab even though the fab was visibly working. I had to call AAA to come unlock the car. I can unlock all of the doors from the inside except for the drivers door. If I lock my car I will be locked out out of it, so my vehicle is now not secure. This is the first time this has happened.

I have always known that after entering the vehicle and beginning a trip, all four doors and hatch would automatically lock and stay locked until a passenger unlocked one of the doors. But sometime this past weekend, I began noticing that the vehicle would try to relock all doors EVERY time the vehicle accelerated after idling, which is quite often. When I pointed this out to my teenager in the front passenger seat, she noticed that the door behind the driver's seat was not locking during each attempt. She tried to lock all doors from her door, but that one would not lock. Then I tried to lock all doors from my door, but that one would not lock. When we returned home, I tried to lock all doors from my key fob, but that one would not lock. I also tried to lock that one manually with my hand, but it won't lock. This is a safety issue for multiple reasons. For one, I don't want that door to accidentally open while the car is in motion. But secondly, I currently don't feel safe parking my car anywhere outside of my garage if anyone can currently open that door.

It seems all door locks are buzzing and have difficulty opening/closing. It happens during unlocking and locking of doors using either the remote key or regular key. Also makes buzzing noise when running the 1st 0-10mph (from most full stop). It seems to happen more often on the driver and right passenger doors. Bought this used car in mid-2023.

Received recall notice from Honda, attempted to make an appointment in May 2023 with Lia Honda in Enfield. Lia Honda failed to return multiple calls and set up an appointment, telling me -??We will call you when we have the parts for this recall-??. Once it reached September, I called a Honda dealership and repair center in Manchester and have an appointment with them in November 2023. This is completely unacceptable as the recall states that failure to make this appointment can cause the operator to lose control of the vehicle and crash.

I was sent a recall notice fora SAFETY DEFECT that the rear frame that can deteriorate and trailing arm can fall off. I called the Honda of ILLINOIS dealer In Springfield Illinois to schedule an appointment for the recall and was told I would be put on a Waiting list and they only schedule 2 of these recalls per week. This vehicle is the only mode of transportation, and is driven on the highway to and from a nearby city 40 minutes away on a daily basis. There are children being transported in this vehicle and I am concerned for their safety. I called as soon as I received the recall notice in May and have yet to hear back from them as to when It can be repaired. This is a safety issue and I feel needs addressed. (update) they returned the call as I was typing this note and they tell me "there is quite a few people ahead of me that have this recall" This is unacceptable to have to wait over 60 days for a recall repair that is a safety issue!

I received an open recall notice via email on 1 May 2023 for my 2011 Honda CR-V. The notice stated that my vehicle was added to the open recall on 9 Apr 2023. My vehicle has been housed in the state of Virginia since August 2016 (7 years) that is affected by the recall NHTSA campaign number: 23V228, Honda code for recall: XDZ. Our family is active duty military and our vehicles are registered in the state of residence other than Virginia as required by law. I believe my 2011 Honda CR-V is affected by the recall and fear for my and my family's safety. For an unknown reason, the recall was removed from my vehicle. I contacted Honda Customer Service on 14 July 2023, requested Honda to escalate my concern, and I have been assigned a Honda case number by representative Jaslyn.

The car is subject to a safety recall. I have contacted 2 Honda dealers to inspect this car. They will not schedule an inspection because the parts to repair it are on back order. The national Honda rep has told me not to drive the car and that the dealers should give me a loaner since the car will either need to be repaired or totally scrapped. The dealers will not even look at the car until they have the parts and I have explained that it is possible that the car will NOT be reparable--in which case Honda will buy it back from me. I think they are refusing to inspect the car because they don't want to give anyone a loaner while waiting for the back ordered parts. I've asked the national HOnda people to contact the local dealers to explain the correct process for dealing with this recall but they say they don't have any control over independently owned Honda dealers.

I was driving down a road on the way to take my son to his swim team training. I got about f 5 min away from our home and I felt a large clunk, almost as if I ran something over that was large. I had difficulty steering my vehicle, had a loud weird noise coming from the vehicle, and pulled over. I inspected the vehicle outside, I hit nothing. wheels looked fine. I popped open the hood and started to inspect, it was getting dark so it was difficult to see. I found that the engine mount bolts had sheared clean off of the engine, causing the engine to drop, cracking the engine bracket and the engine almost falling out of the vehicle onto the ground. It it was not for the cross member below it may have completely fallen out.. the vehicle had to be towed as it was not drivable at this point. I had the vehicle towed to Schlossmanns Honda in Greenfield WI for repair. Currently my vehicle is at a Honda dealer being inspected for corrosion as I live in the rust belt and there is a recall for corrosion on this vehicle.

2011 Honda CR-V. Excessive rear frame corrosion resulted in rear control arm separation from vehicle. This was subject of recall in Canada but Honda USA not recalling here (upstate NY). Honda has recalled the Ridgeline and Element for very similar issue. The Issue caused me to almost crash and could have been injured. Rear driver side wheel came loose and went sideways causing me to skid off road. Passenger side of vehicle is near failure also. Vehicle gave no indication of failure before it happened. I had recently had wheel alignment and annual NYS safety inspections. Have been talking to Honda and dealer for 5 months. Refusing to help.

Rust hole found in unibody at passenger's side rear where trailing arm bolts to vehicle in front of passenger's side rear wheel. Because this is so close to the bolt for the trailing arm, this is an immediate safety issue. Hole originally there but rust caused it to enlarge significantly. The trialing arm could break at any point and cause a severe crash. I was about to go on a long road trip and very likely this could have broken. Consumer stated the safety issue is caused by a design flaw in the 2007-2011 Honda CR-V models and in fact a recall for this issue has happened in Canada. The issue was discovered by my local mechanic during a routine oil change and tire rotation. There were no warnings, messages, or symptoms. After researching I found that this exact issue is being recalled in Canada but not in the United States. I live in Vermont and experience the same harsh winters and salted roads as Canada. Shocked that this is not a recall in my area.

Doors are not unlocking on my 2011 Honda CR-V. this is very dangerous. I parked the car overnight and the doors won't unlock. On further investigation, I saw that driver side door lock is stuck. It won't unlock with key fob nor with the key. Very very dangerous. Meaning, now I either I have to keep the windows down and fear the car being stolen or fear I won't be able to come out of the car in the event of an crash. I saw online that there are countless complaints about lock actuators being faulty but Honda still did not issue a recall.

Excessive corrosion to the rear frame as I live in MA with high salt usage state. In Canada, Transport Canada (equivalent to us NHTSA) has already opened recall bulletin 20190250 as due to this excessive rear frame corrosion could lead to frame stiffener perforation and, in extreme cases, cause the rear-trailing arm to separate from the vehicle's frame structure. A separated rear-trailing arm may cause the vehicle to be difficult to control, increasing the risk of a crash.

While driving on un-crowded highway sunroof loudly exploded and rained glass into and outside the vehicle. Highway speed of approximately 65 mph outdoor temperature approximately 40 degrees. Passengers uninjured but very scared. Glass was blown out from inside to out. No indication of an impact was present. No other vehicles were present to cause impact. Vehicle was taken to local dealership where they explained it must have been a "tiny rock" that caused the impact so they would not repair or replace the defective part except at the owners expense. Serious safety issue with refusal directly from american Honda and local dealership to remedy.

When unlocking the doors using the key fob the right rear door unlocks momentarily then relocks. When using the driver door lock button to unlock the doors the right rear door unlocks then relocks. When parking the vehicle and placing the shifter into the park position the right rear door unlocks then relocks. When using key to unlock vehicle from driver door handle the right rear door unlocks then relocks. When transporting children this is a safety issue that Honda should address. Reviewing complaints from other sources this is an ongoing issue with Honda crvs since 2003.

I was pulling out of parking spot in reverse in a crowded movie theater parking lot when my 2011 Honda CR-V accelerated at full speed into the cement pole behind me. Confused, I put the car in 'drive' to pull myself away from the pole, when the car once again accelerated at full speed forward toward the spot I was original in hitting and continually pushing a parked mini-van, which in turn pushed and kept pushing the parked car next to it. In an attempt to stop the car, I put the car in reverse and once again went in reverse, crashing into the same cement pole. Despite the fact that I bore down on the brakes repeatedly, the car did not stop until I put the car in 'park". immediately thereafter, I turned the car off. This all occurred in seconds and was terrifying...I had no control of the vehicle. Witnesses in the movie theater parking lot were stopped in their tracks hearing the loud roar of the engine.
