There seems to be no warranty for this per my local Honda dealer. However this is my second Honda, the first I drove to almost 200,000 and never had any issues. Nor have I ever had any problems like this on any prior vehicle in over 40 years. Something does not seem right here.

I bought the 2011 Honda CRV last year at a Honda dealership and brought it in for an oil change. I was told it had a leak in the automatic steering column fluid and would cost me $1200 to replace. It currently has 20,000 miles on the car. The dealership has offered to pay for a portion of the costs but for the low mileage the car has I think it should be covered 100% since there have been similar problems with other year models of CRVs.

I bought Honda CR-V assuming it will be an excellent Japanese car, considering so much trust on Japanese technology. I reported this to Honda, but they simply told go and fix on your own. I think they lost a good customer forever. I will ride this car for 1 year and get rid of it. I will advise others not to buy Honda, as they do not respect customer and build a trust. DO NOT BUY HONDA CAR!!!
