problem #1

Dec 052011

CR-V EX 4 cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 14,913 miles

The tires looked worn when we brought in the car for service. They were measured for wear and we were told that one rear tire was only a one and the other was a two, out of 10. Both had to be replaced right away.

We only had a little over 24000 kilos on the car and had done mostly highway driving. We got a decent credit for the tires but we still had to pay approx 550 for the replacement tires.

We are very unhappy with the quality of Honda's original tires. Suffice to say that this will have an affect on any recommendation that we make. It seems Honda Canada has a problem that the dealers have to deal with. The dealer seemed decent and reasonable but I think their hands are tied.
