Rear passenger door will not open intermittently. Use the power lock to open all the doors, but sometimes the rear passenger door will not open regardless. I will try to manually unlock and even open from inside, but the door will not budge. Sometimes I just have to lock and unlock the doors again but other times I have to restart the car to get the door to budge.
Obviously this is a problem, since my 1 year old daughter has to exit from that door. I just think what would happen if this occurred during an accident and I had to get her out immediately.
I have taken it into the dealership a couple of times since it is under warranty still, but they can't get it to replicate when I am there and I need a vehicle to get around so I can't just leave it there for what could be weeks or months since it happens on and off again. It has happened twice this past week so I'm going to try to bring it again before the warranty expires...hopefully they can get it to replicate for them.

This Door Lock issue has been an ongoing problem with my 2012 Honda CR-V since October or November. I am not sure if connected to the 2007-2011 Honda CR-V vehicles Door Lock Defect, but it sounds very similar.
The problem first began when my key remote wouldn't unlock the car door. Then I tried unlocking the door manually, and that would not work either. This door lock issue happened intermittently. Obviously, being a woman I can see the safety concerns with not being able to get into my car when the door will not open. This issue has also caused me to be late to work and so far hasn't created a problem with my boss (although he did suggest last time I may need a new car). My vehicle is only three years old so this reliability issue should not be a problem.
In December 2014, one morning my car wouldn't start. The dealership sent a tow truck to my house, and they were unable to jump the car. They had to tow my vehicle to the dealership, and my service rep was unable to get the battery to fail. They replaced my car battery because they didn't want me to get stranded.
So we thought perhaps there was a battery issue which may have something to do with the remote not working. However, that did not explain why manual unlocking the door wouldn't work since these issues seem to be independent of each other. I had hoped replacing the battery would have solved the issue but there is still a problem. These issues may be independent or connected.
This morning my car door unlocked with the key remote, but the doors would not open completely. It was as if the door lock was still partially locked, and it would only open partially. During lunch, the same issue happened, and the door would not open. When I tried again the key remote would not unlock the doors, and so I tried manually and the door opened.
I will be taking this car in on Monday. At this time, I am still covered under warranty, but this is still very inconvenient as it makes it hard to drive to work when I can't get in my car. Reading the previous post makes me question if related to the same issue from previous models "Door Lock Defect" issue.
I figured I would report this issue because other 2012 models or later may experience or encounter the same issue.
Update from Jan 19, 2015: Vehicle had problems again today. This time the remote wouldn't work and I had to manually unlock the door. I remembered to video the issue. They are going to replace the lock actuator now and check all others.

Unlocked the car with the key fob, opened drivers side door then went back to the hatchback and found that it hadn't unlocked. Went back to the door thinking that I must have not clicked unlock twice and used the door unlock button. The back hatch still didn't unlock and when I tried the drivers side passenger door it too was locked.
Called the dealership, they said $115 for diagnostic even after I Googled the problem and matched it to a failed actuator. Then if that is the problem it will cost $225 and a half day for the repair. After the search, I found that the recall for the exact same problem was in previous models and that situation is very similar to my situation. Just past the warranty and from what I understand this model year has been giving people grief with the failing actuators as well.
I have called Honda Corp. and they had said that my car had a recall on the drivers side door in 10/12. We are the second owners. I will post an update as soon as I hear something.
