Paint peeling around third brake light and to right of third brake light, down to bare metal. Also clear coat seems to be “fading” on roof (passenger side, front above windshield), drivers door wherein paint color is considerable lighter.

My new 2013 CR-V has chipping pain on the edge of the driver door and on the inside of the door. This area exposed to the outside will most likely rust in time. I reported it and got no satisfaction. They tried to blame it on me. I treat my cars with kid gloves.

Basically Honda blew me off- I contacted the service dept, requested to meet with the district manager -they promised I would meet with the district manager- then the service manager said the District manager is moving to a new district and they don't know who will be the new district manager. The service dept. manager gave me customer service number which was ABSOLUTELY no help.

seems like really poor quality primer or paint or both... this is my 4th Honda.. now my last because the Honda Dealership where i bought it is convince this is a rock chip.... most car scratches can be buffed out at most car body repair shops.. this damage can't be buffed or i'll have a big hole with no paint on it so all they could do is use touch up paint... this is a 2013 CRV.... 6600 miles... costs near $25,500 USD... Honda should fix it instead of being to fast to blame rocks...

paint is chipping and leaving bare spots of steel My 2013 white Honda CRV has chipped paint in the front. It exposes the bare steel and it will probably rust. I have only had the car for 7 months and the Honda people will not do anything about it. I think at the very least, they should touch up the chips, buff and double wax it and maybe it will help the situaiton. They would not offer any solution... This Honda dealership braggs about how "family friendly" they are and that each and every customer counts, and they want to EXCELL at their customer service. They flunked each area of their motto!
