2013 Honda CRV, About every two months just will not crank. I can jump it, or use a battery box and it cranks. After that I check the battery, and it's fully charged, Starter check and it shows good. After that the car starts perfectly for another month or so. Had Honda dealership look and they don't have a clue.
It's almost like the engine is stopping at a point where the starting system can't get it going. It sounds strange to say this, but it's like there are several internal components that will intermittently line up so that they need to be broken loose. Something is happening that is very sporadic, but it mostly happen late at night when I leaving work, although this afternoon, I stopped at the store on the way home and it happened. I bought a battery booster and it gets it cranked, but after that, it's like the problem never happened and the batter tests at 95%. The first time it happened when the car was 2 months old, I replaced the 410 CCA battery with a 500 CCA that I bought elsewhere, but that really isn't the issue.
