This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Honda dealer.
I will NEVER buy a HONDA again. A car's A/C which is only 3yrs old should not break. I have NO AIR at all. I am planning to get it fix. Honda should take responsibility for these repairs.

road debris caused damage on condenser/design flaw(grille)
This is obviously a design flaw that earlier models were able to be compensated through a class action suit. Yet they never changed the design! Not until 2015 that is. I've also been hearing about Honda's being notorious for having bad cooling systems - so can't wait until my lease is up. I'm so disappointed, really wanted to buy this car after my lease period.
I was wondering if i could get Honda to split the cost with me for this avoidable repair. When I called to make my appt. for an oil change and told them about the AC, you could tell they knew that it would NOT be covered under warranty. They kept mentioning how much it would cost just to diagnose the problem. Well, I guess they have more than a few recurring problems.
The service manager could not help, although he admits that this is a problem. He said I'd have to go to Honda for "design flaws",
Just ranting. not sure what the site is about, but I plan to file a formal complaint unless someone has any better ideas. Thanks!

no heat on driver's side
The dealer stated that they have seen this only with CR-V's in Honda's lineup, I guess they got a bad batch of coolant. This should be a recall, I would have hated to pay for this. $$$$

My air conditioner stopped cooling on the driver's side after about 16 mos after purchase. The passenger side was cooler, but not as cool as it should be. This slowly started happening in the summertime, so I thought it was just getting hotter outside until one afternoon it just wouldn't cool at all. I took it to the dealership and they said that they couldn't find the problem, so they recharged the A/C and put in a tracer dye. This worked great for about 6 weeks. I took it back in and they said that it was a leaky seal and they replaced it and recharged the lines. After about 2.5 mos the A/C slowly stopped cooling until it stopped altogether on the driver's side. I took it BACK to the dealership and they said they'd have to replace the whole duct work area.It has been about 2.5 mos since I had the last problem, so I think it's fixed; however, the weather has already cooled off so I won't know until spring.
This is not the only issues that I have had with this vehicle, so I will be logging them separately (uncomfortable headrest/seat, seat not staying in position, broken trim on seat). I feel so jerked around by Honda that this has left a sour taste in my mouth. I'm currently seeking out trading this in for a trusty ol' Camry.

Once the vehicle was sold, the dealership just did not care. Only when I said they are selling me a lemon, then they opened up an appointment to check this after a half hour hold. Their service section was open when I called in as the purchase was less than a day old!
I don't think Honda cares after their vehicle is purchased

Really it's a very bad product. What can I do? Only 29000 miles on my car.
