This car was purchased new on 04 May, an ordered car, not stock.
First failure on 12 May.
Second failure several days later, shop adjusted brake switch.
Third failure several weeks later, shop replaced brake switch.
Fourth failure rebooted CPU and upgraded software.
Fifth failure at 560 miles still in shop no resolution.
Honda Rep came to look at car and said car is operating normally. This is complete BS and Honda states car is ok take it away. When the ACC lights come on the engine stalls and will not follow the gas pedal and brake light flashes I was nearly hit twice when the ACC failed in Traffic This car is dangerous Honda refuses to fix it or cannot fix it. I am not letting my wife drive it and I refuse to drive the car in traffic essentially it is useless to me and I don't want it. Honda refuses to buy it back offers no fix for the car and states this is" Normal operation". if THIS IS NORMAL THEN NO ONE SHOULD PURCHASE ANY 2015 HONDA CR-Vs. MAYBE THIS IS ANOTHER TAKATA AIR BAG STORY BY Honda !!!!
The frustration level around this household is extremely high and the thoughts of a motor car company refusing to acknowledge that they have a serious safety problem is truly unthinkable. I will dispose of this car as soon as I can. Honda says it is safe and I have that on tape for protection.
