CR-V Touring

This has happened to several owners whom I know. Honda should have a recall on this or at least a bulletin. A very expensive repair.

I have had 4 batteries in the last year. The car will not start until jumped but the batteries are not dead. I have bought them at four separate stores. I have taken it in 3 times to a trusted mechanic who works on nothing but Hondas and Toyotas. All his mechanics worked at dealerships before working with him. He cannot figure out what is wrong.

This week I had to jump it three times. It doesn't matter if the outside temperature is hot or cold. People keep telling me that I have to drive it everyday for at least 30 minutes or so which seems ridiculous to me because I could leave my accord to sit for days, even in frigid temperatures, and never had a problem. I don't want to bring it in to dealership to be charged excessive costs. They probably wont't figure it out either. I have had 4 accords between 1985 and 2015 without any major problems. I always get my maintenance done when needed.

Attempted to unlock my car with the key fob. Key fob lights up, nothing happens with the car. While attempting to use the manual key to unlock, I pressed the key fob unlock/lock. At some point, it worked and I was able to open the car door, but still no power. Upon entering the car, I closed the door. Pressed the Start Button (and yes, foot was on brake) No power. Open/Shut door, press unlock/lock on key fob - we now have power...but not on the audio. Red AWD flashing on the dashboard and the speedometer needle bouncing then stops. I reset the audio by pushing and holding the power button. Finally, everything is working. This is now happening every week and there is no way to reproduce. It could happen if I turn off my car and then there is no power. I've had it where the audio would not turn off. Needed to disconnect the battery overnight. Dealership can't find anything wrong with this car. I've switched out the key fob, nada. Will never buy a Honda again. I believe it's something with the blue tooth and the system gets overwhelmed and shuts down.
