Recently took my 2015 Honda CR-V for another attempt to fix the issue. Basically, the vehicle will vibrate harshly and shudder as if it will stall with the RPM's dropping to 300-500. It happens in multiple instances- when coming to a stop/stopped in gear, while on the highway going about 60-70 mph. It feels like the vehicle loses power/is about to stall off. I've been told by Honda this is "characteristic" of the vehicle. If that's the case, why didn't they inform me this when purchasing the vehicle? bad move, Honda.

The contact owns a 2015 Honda CR-V. everytime the vehicle was started, the contact smelled an odor of burning rubber inside the vehicle. The contact stated that the odor made her ill, which required medical attention. The vehicle was taken to showcase Honda located in phoenix, AZ, but the cause of the failure could not be determined. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 30,000. Updated 10/31/17 the consumer stated upon having a recall repair completed the dealer applied a "dressing on interior of car". the consumer requested only for the engine and exterior recall to be completed. Due to the odor the consumer went into anaphylactic shock.

I was driving down a steep hill about a block from my homewhen all of the "trouble" lights came on. I immediately tuned around and the engine power was so low that I barely made it the block home. I parked and called Honda service. Whe I found out that since my car had 47,000 miles on it and Honda towing would cost $160, I had the car towed by a local service for $100 to the dealer. When I called the dealer on the following Monday (it happened on a Friday or Saturday), they informed me that the mechanics could not reproduce the problem by starting the car. No attempt was made to drive it. The company informed me that there was corrosion between the engine wire harness and the sensor connector. The parts to replace were the crank sensor connector, the O ring, and intake manifold gasket. This cost $1002.

The contact slowly drove to the end of the slope and was able to stop. The vehicle was taken to three different dealers, but the cause of the failure could not be diagnosed. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that the vehicle was operating as designed. The failure recurred and was not remedied. Also, while driving approximately 15 mph on a different day, the alternator went out and the battery and check engine indicators illuminated. The vehicle was towed to another dealer where it was diagnosed and the alternator and drive belt were replaced. Excessive vibration throughout cabin. Honda service recommended and applied the mod 1 repair. This has only moved the vibration around in the vehicle. Now the vibration is much more felt in the steering wheel, the passenger seat and the rear seat. A much more aggressive vibration has now shown up at speeds around 70 mph - though this vibration is much more intermittent. The vibration has been an issue since I purchased the vehicle with 4 miles on it in July of 2015. I went back to the dealer initially and they suggested running the air conditioning or an accessory to minimize the problem. Honda was working on a fix. Still waiting for the fix and also wondering what serious problems this is going to cause down the road.

Significant vibration when I am at a stop and foot on brake or just about to drive off. This happens almost every time I drive the vehicle. Significant vibration of the front seat when no one is sitting in it. It seems to happen more when I am at a stop but it continues even while driving at highway speed. Sometimes I have to reach over and hold on to the seat to get ride of the noise and vibration. Windows and rear window seem to have a fog or cloudiness in them no matter the state of the defrost, weather or how much I clean them. No clear vision out the window. Have seen the same issue in Honda Odyssey as well.

Car has been stalling in motion (especially in areas of higher speed) and the car has been not starting up. We have been on the interstates when the car has gone from 60 mph to stop all at once...almost killing us. In regards to the start up issue, the lights come on but the engine does not. The battery was just replaced and the dealership will not fix these safety issues. In fact, the managing partner tells his staff to ignore our communication attempts and will not return our calls himself. The service manager refused to fix anything because he says there is nothing wrong with the car after driving it around the dealership parking lot once. Honda corporate will not fix any issues either. This car is a lemon and has been since we bought it in January 2015. These stalling and startup issues have specifically been going on since January 5, 2017.
