I have had the fumes in the cabin and was not sure if it was exhaust or fuel. It seemed most prominent when starting after a long period when the car was not operating (e.g. like first thing in the morning). I would have to drive for a few minutes with the windows down to vent the fumes from the car. As a result of this, the poor engine idle, the engine surging at highway speeds (after the Honda fix) and the poor heating in the Winter, I traded it in. Honda is of no help! The dealers just keep you coming back...I guess until the warranty is up...!
