This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Honda dealer.
The car shakes violently when at a stop light or idling. If the ac or heat is turned on to a moderate level, this strangely will stop the vibrations. The CRV has been examined and routine maintenance and trouble shooting was done but no improvements have occurred. I had it checked by a dealership and another repair shop and was basically told this is just how the CRV is. I suspect it is similar to the issue with the 2015 models. It is very frustrating and disappointing.

Notice the shaking of my 2016 Honda CR-V the very 1st night driving it at speeds of 65 miles and higher, gave the vehicle a break in period, thinking the shaking would go away after a while, however the situation has gotten worse. This is the second time dealing with the dealership, the 1st time the Service Consultant claims the vehicle was not road tested for high speed, so they did a High Performance Balance.. the shaking and vibration became worse and more noticeable. The second time around my car has been at the dealership now for 5 days, the Service Consultant called stating they've replaced all my tires however they need to check out a few more things.. This is my 1st and last time Leasing a Honda product, I've always leased with Nissan and never had any issues or problems with any of my vehicles... I know this will be the worse 36 months, because reading all the articles I have yet to see a fix for this vibrating and shaking problem.

High vibration on idle. Was told it happens during cold weather and should stop when it gets warm. Well it's been warm and the car is still vibrating high on idle.

I had the recall done on the tranny and after that it had the problem when I stop with the brake pedal on. it goes from 800 to 600 rpms and vibrates. it also has a wooping noise that I believe is part of the same problem. took it to dealership they looked at me like I had 3 heads, great for an auto that is supposed to be number 1.

im so mad about this SUV, worst ever i will never buy Honda, the bad thing is that this vibration problem hast been addressed, no words about the root cause and corrective action for almost one year, what type of management responsibility and customer service is this, someone needs to audit Honda;s complaints system. They know about the problem and i dont see why Honda has not stopped manufacturing CRVs.

I have complained about the Vibration since my 1st checkup and they never called me back. I finally took it in and told them my 2nd checkup that I wanted something done. Found out they let last service manager go so that's the reason they say I was not called back after my complains the 1st time. After not taking no for an answer the Manager of the Service Dept went out with me to test drive. He agreed with me and then told me since I had complained about this they did have bulletin's out fro this issue. They kept my car for a day and did what they called code 1 and said there was more codes but this should fix the problem. It did not fix the problem and I took it back in again and talked to Service Manager and the General Manager, I was very upset! After over 2 hours and test driving a 2016 and still felt I had a problem with my car and he disagreed with me about how bad the vibration was he finally told me he would call someone at Honda Co. to see what they could do. He called me back the next day and said someone above him said to try the 2nd code but it would probably make my gas mileage less. They also let me know that's what they did for another customer that had this problem, it fixed the problem but got less gas mileage. I told him I would have to think about it and talk to someone else about this. He said ok whenever I was ready. Just tonight I've went online and found out I'm not the only one with this problem. Needless to say I'm very Upset to learn this information and them try to act like I don't know my own car! I'm so glad I seen this problem online and can address it better.Still don't know what to do, brand new car and have to go through this! Thank you, Jerritn

There's a constant vibration being felt through the seats of the vehicle during idle (stops, lights, yields). It'll go away as soon as I place the car in neutral and will return with less intensity when placed back into drive. Dealership says it's normal and that Honda has done all it can to correct it.
