As reported by numerous other CRV owners with the 1.5 engine, in cold weather the heat output is non-existent unless you are on a road trip. It is currently -10F in Montana and if it were not for the heated seats we would freeze our butts off in this car. I noticed this problem the first winter we owned it and thought it might be a faulty thermostat (yup, old guy thinking). The dealer claimed to have replace it but heat output was not improved. The last few winters have been less severe so we have lived with the poor heat while driving in the city. Currently it is COLD and I'm wishing I would have bought a Subaru. Apparently Honda has no desire to address the problem so I guess the only real solution is to get rid of the CRV and switch to another brand.
