The contact stated that the failure occurred intermittently. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the fuel injector had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle had not been repaired. The contact stated that the vehicle would be taken to another dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 97,000.

The contact owns a 2017 Honda CR-V. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, the system was independently disabled. The vehicle was towed to the local dealer, who diagnosed the vehicle and informed the contact that the fuel injectors were defective. The mechanic informed the contact that if the vehicle had been driving at the time of the failure, the vehicle would not be able to exceed 10 MPH. The vehicle was not repaired due to parts being on backorder. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 99,000.
