The contact owns a 2018 Honda CR-V. after parking and locking the vehicle, an audible was heard. The contact stated that the alarm sounded even though the vehicle was locked. Additionally, when the vehicle was parked and the door lock button was depressed, the audible sound for the door lock would sound; however, the vehicle was still unlocked. The contact also stated that the display would occasionally flash on and off and then go blank. Also, on several occasions in inclement weather, the vehicle was stopped at a traffic light, the windshield wipers ceased to work. Community Honda lafayette (located at 1407 la 728-8, lafayette, la 70501, (337) 235-9086) stated that the windshield wiper was programmed to slow down when the vehicle was not moving, which was a feature of the vehicle. An appointment was scheduled with the dealer. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failures. The approximate failure mileage was 8,000. Consumer stated forgot to say as I was going straight on hwy 90- a car was on my right in the turn lane- my car stopped and cops were coming behind- almost slammed are me in the back.
