For some weeks, the driver-??s heated seat began to heat to excessive temperatures without me turning on the seat warmer. The seat heating system intermittently reaches temperatures high enough to cause painful burn-type irritation to my back and buttocks. I have experienced repeated episodes where normal seat heating settings produced dangerously high heat. I returned the vehicle multiple times to Townsend Honda for diagnosis and repair (repair orders are on file with the dealer and with Honda corporate). Despite multiple service visits, the dealership has been unable to permanently resolve the overheating condition. On 09162025 and 09222025 repairs or diagnostics were attempted but the defect persists. Honda corporate has since opened Case #15869482 for further review but I have not heard from Honda corporate till now.

During a motor vehicle accident I was hit from behind while stopped by a vehicle going 40-45 miles per hour. I was pushed into another stopped vehicle in front of me. My drivers seat fully reclined and twisted as a result of the impact, and I was not secured into the seat properly as a result. I have multiple injuries from the accident due to the way my body was able to be thrown around the vehicle.

The seats are extremely uncomfortable and cause bottom and back pain. After driving for 30-40 minutes the driver's bottom becomes numb. This is a safety issue because the driver cannot attend to the road as effectively while being in extreme discomfort. The seats are not well-designed if they are causing the driver this much pain. Adjusting the seat in many possible positions does not eliminate this discomfort.

My car was in park. The plastic trim piece that houses the controls for the seat, on the drivers side, has a trim piece that curves around to the front of the seat about 4-5". this trim piece caught my pant leg on my exit from the car and I fell out of the car onto the ground. The first time it happened was Dec. 21st 2018, my body was sore for 2 days. I called Honda and they had me go to my local Honda dealer and have the trim piece replaced. 2 times now this trim piece has caught my pant leg on my exit from the car and I have fallen out of the car on to the ground. The second time the trim piece caught my pant leg was on January 23rd. 2019 and I fell out of the car on to the ground, wrenching my left shoulder, left hip and skinning my left knee. I have called Honda both times and made a report. I do have a case #, but they are closed today so I will get the case # on Monday.. I am sending 4 pictures the first 3 are driver side trim piece that is sticking out and the last one is passenger side trim piece that is nice and tucked in. Big difference!!

After over a 12-15 attempts over a week I still cannot locate the anchors to which a child safety seat attaches in the back seat. The driver's manual is not only not helpful, but misleading. It's necessary to google the problem to locate the anchors and then still has been impossible to attach the latches. This would be especially difficult for anyone regularly removing and replacing a child seat. I've given up and hope an angel is watching over me when I Transport my grandchildren. How many more will revert to this method before a child is injured?
